I actually have enough dasd to copy all my disks (45 3390 m3) that takes about 2 hours of down time. Then during working hours I can ddr those copied disks to tape. The last time I did a drp exercise I had 90 3490e tapes. (and the 4 drive s IBM supplied had constant equipment checks) it took about 6 hours to restore. Hopefully this time it will be a lot quicker Thanks keep the ideas rolling in. I learn a lot here even though I understand about 10% :(
