What is the version of the HLASM that I need for assembling VM
components? It appears that the one delivered with the 5.3 system was
5799-TCQ, which is listed as "HLASM Linux zSeries" on the sheet of paper
that I have. When I go to the IBM VM home page and search for 5799-TCQ
(with or without the dash), I get nothing. Aaaarrrggghhhhh - the joys of
having things delivered to a datacenter 1000+ miles away because of tax
implications.
Should it have been 5696-234, the HLASM for MVS, VM and VSE,
instead?
