How do I change a device that partially emulates a 3480 from supported to unsupported without an ipl? I presume that the command "SET RDEVICE nnnn TYPE UNSUP DEVCLASS TAPE" would be needed. Would this need to be preceded by the command "SET RDEVICE nnnn CLEAR"? Would having the device OFFLINE before entering the command(s) be sufficient?
