We are looking at DB2 Connect Enterprise Edition running on zLinux for several projects we have coming down the pike. We currently have DB2 Connect Personal Edition on some PCs (DB2 Connect 7.2 with service packs).
But now, we are in much larger world. Each project seems to be coming in with a requirement for 15-30 new users. I'm having trouble finding or obtaining a DB2 Connect EE trial. I would rather not buy the product and find out that it doesn't meet our needs. Or for that matter, it doesn't work with DB2 VSE 7.3..... So, has anyone been successful at getting a trial of DB2 Connect EE (for concurrent users), on the zLinux platform? Like I said, I can buy it ($10K), but I would rather know that it works, before we go thru the paper work to spend the money.
