Lionel, Using Lotus Notes at the office, I had the same question about how to use that ".ics" file that the Share Scheduler so nicely downloaded, and Lotus Notes could not read.
Our Support Center was actually able to help me this time! Here's what they suggested and actually worked (I've only tried it for a single session so far, but don't know of any reason that it shouldn't work for all sessions in one's "Personal Itinerary". Warning: I wouldn't just do this for every session at SHARE - calendar clutter! 1 ) Create a Lotus Notes "message" to yourself (to any old PROFS users, it's simply called a "note"). 2) Attach the ".ics" file to that note. 3) Send it to yourself. 4) Open the note in Lotus Notes. 5) Open the attachment, click on "Import All" 6) Check your calendar for that date/time. Mine didn't show anything new. 7) Open your Notes "Inbox" -- and you'll find meeting invitations for the session(s). 8) "Accept" it/them. 9) Check your Notes calendar. It/they should be there. The marvels of simple technology. :-) Mike Walter Hewitt Associates Any opinions expressed herein are mine alone and do not necessarily represent the opinions or policies of Hewitt Associates.
