Greetings, Looking for validation of required maintenance to support TS1120 E05 encryption in IBM 3584 library for z/VSE 4.1.x. In customer environment, the encryption will be done from z/VSE. In the disaster recovery environment, z/VSE 4.1.x will be recovered as a guest under z/VM 5.3.0.
IBM Systems Storage tape encryption solutions redbook states that "PTF for APAR VM64062 is required for DFSMS/VM support for z/VSE guests". Please confirm if this apar is required for DR environment. The production environment is z/VSE native, no z/VM. Thanks in advance.
