In fact I have decided NOT to ipl on the same spool volumes and same CP OWNED list, but to use SPXTAPE to move (copy) the spool to new volumes. However, at least I can assume (I hope) that there is no problem with V5 loading files dumped by V4 SPXTAPE. Right? :-) Thanks to everyone else who helped too! Shimon (also from SP3 days, but I can't compare to REAL old-timers here...)
