I'm about to POR a new IOCP to support Dynamic I/O. I added to IOCP on the RESOURCE statement:
MAXDEV=(MAX) Performed a "Disable write protect" and wrote (WRTA1) the IOCP with the DYN operand. The output from the IOCP command stated: QUERY TOKEN command return code was: 6816 Processing will continue with default token. Is this okay? Do I need to create a TOKEN (with SET TOKEN)? If not, is there any advantage to creating this TOKEN? TIA, Frank M. Ramaekers Jr. Systems Programmer MCP, MCP+I, MCSE & RHCE American Income Life Insurance Co.
