Suppose you are editing a file that has RECFM V and you want to see the hex translation. You enter the command VER H 1 *, and you are immediately presented with the hex data. Is there any way to prevent XEDIT from padding short records with x'40's? Any way short of rewriting a chunk of the XEDIT code, that is.
