Hi, I am doing some backups for zvm for dr purposes. Aside from the zvm res volume, I was wondering if we really need to backup the spool and page volumes. based on my readings, It seems i don't need to backup paging volumes. for spool volumes, if i am going to do a cold start during ipl, then backing up spool volume is not needed. I will be using DDR during backup and the system will be shutdown during the backup. Is my understanding correct ?
