Dear, We have only 1 GCP on z10 BC HW like the below
1. HW : z10 BC 1 GCP
2. OS : Four Guest OS/390 V2.10 (SE02, SE05, SE06, CF) under z/VM V6.1
3. three OS/390 will be coupled by Sysplex thru CF system(VCFLINK under
z/VM)
4. Sysplex will be used for GRS and Tape sharing
Question 1) Is it OK using 1CP as a GCP and ICF?
Question 2) If CPU utilization is 100%, is it possible that Sysplex is
failed by resource shortage of CF system?
To prevent the above situation, We will give priority to
CF system to define "SHARE xxx ABSOLUTE xx% ABSOLUTE xx% LIMITSOFT" in CP
directory.
is it right way?
