I have a in a second LPAR, one z/VM and SUSE Linux installed, on the HMC customization profile is selected the IFL and 5% of the processor CP's for z/VM, now the problem I have that Linux starts using the processor CP and not IFL, if I connect with user performance monitor shows me that the activity for the IFL (CPU 01) is at 0 while the CPU 00 (CPU BASE 00) is in the range of 13-87. I changed the entry in the user directory "linux" as follows: CPU 00 BASE CPU 01 in user EXEC PROFILE I put the command: 'SET vconfig MODE LINUX' We start the linux user and always the same, which only consumes CP processor resource.
