Well, boo. That seems to be an integrity issue -- if that signal appears and if the time remaining is non-zero, z/OS ought to at least TELL you that it happened, even if it doesn't let you do something about it. It shouldn't just die horribly, it should try to do something if it can. Guess it's time to pull out my requirement pen.
