Our hardware folks are trying to use HCD to manage IOCPs on boxes that do not have any z/OS LPARs. They have asked me if I would pass a question to the VM list. Here it is:
"Using the vm/HCD command CBDSIOCP how do you supply the IOCDS slot name you want to use. Ex on CCPUF I want slot name CCPUFA4 written to slot A0. What I'm getting is the name CCPUF only written in slot A0. My IOCP name is IODFA4 PRODIODF A I thought the MSG1 statement in the IODF file should be passing the Slot name to the IOCDS process."
