ty, Alan: Amazing after I changed Preferences>Location from "Notes with Internet Explorer" to "Microsoft Internet Explorer", TGZ, has completely disappeared from within Lotus.

Edit your Location document and change the setting under the "Internet browser" tab to the browser of your choice. Avoid "Notes with Internet Explorer". I think that's just Notes using the IE rendering engine, not IE itself.
