Look in the Perfkit Guide, SC24-6156-01 chapter 5 (page128). Note that you could use my MAILIT package to create an email from a string in a REXX exec (that is without first writing things in a file). Mailit was explictely created for a monitoring system at my former customer, later SMTP support was added.
