We used another subchannel and another LUN for z/Linux - device 2000 was used for z/VM (edev 9000) with LUN1 and device 2002 was used for z/Linux with LUN0. We tried it with and without NPIV, it works in both modes for Linux but not for z/VM. The "PPP" in the WWPN can be ignored (changed the WWPN after copy&paste, sorry for the confusion).
