with my donkey curly ray, sometimes I would give anything just to know
what he is thinking! Sometimes he will come and stand by me so
quietly, I dont even know he is there and he is! and he will just
stand so close and quiet and stare so intently while for instance, I
will be braiding gallant boys mane. What is he thinking? Does he
wish I would primp him too? Is he watching to make sure I don't hurt
"his" herd member? is he just nosey ? If it was a horse I would
thinking he was checking to make sure no one got treats and he didnt,
but he is not motivated by treats. not at all. But this behavior is
something he does a lot. My husband says he wants to make sure he
gets attention too, and that he isnt ignored. but if you pet him he
turns away like "oooh cooties", i swear...
