I've just started Level 1 about a month ago and haven't been able to
put a lot of time into it because I have to work around the arena
schedule which means Sat & Sun evenings are usually free for me, other
than that my games have been limited to Friendly while handling.

Both horses are fine with the Friendly game with the Carrot Stick
although they both seem to be holding still like they're waiting for
something to happen. Gat is always like that with or without the CS
and always has been since we've had her--I'm wondering if that's her
nature to always be so cautious.

I've gone through all 7 games with both Gat and Orri--not perfectly
but we've done them. Gat is easier to work with and seems to
understand everything although both horses seem to think I want to
lunge them when I yo-yo them out, and Orri doesn't want to yo-yo back
in.

Gat will pick up all her feet from one side, no problem. Orri won't
pick up any foot--it's like we're back to square one with that. Both
are figuring out to lower their heads from my hand at their poll.

All in all I can't complain -- it's slow coming along because I don't
have a place to play with them but once the weather gets better I'm
hoping to be able to use the outside arena if it's not boggy or else
go in the pasture or side yard when the arena is used.

I know a horse is a horse, but would the personality of the Icelandic
respond differently to PNH?
