one tip off that he wasnt icelandic... when people would say "is he icelandic like your horse?" I would say "he looks a lot like my horse but my horse is shorter and has long fuzzy hair" which made me wonder...I guess haflingers and drafts have shorter winter coats than icelandics? He wasnt clipped, in fact her other horse, a mustang cross, had much longer body hair. And so does jaspar my twh.
makes you sorta wonder... why would someone breed a horse that is gonna probably end up where no saddle will fit it. People shoud think of stuff like that when they breed! But maybe he was bred to pull logs in areas where short horses are needed or something! Janice -- yipie tie yie yo
