That's such a great story, Janice - you and Tivar are doing so well together. I really like that you pay attention to his instincts, and it's wonderful that you trust him so much. I'm sure he knew that the pool was safe, and to give him credit, I don't think I'd want my horses walking on tin (roofing tin?) either. That stuff can have sharp edges that can be very dangerous and would be one obstacle that I'd see no point in pushing. I'd bet his judgment was correct on both counts. Good for you and Tivar!
