I feel completely bummed out about all of this. So far my dogs are ok. I feed Purina One for sensitive systems, not on the recall. I also feed about 2 tablespoons of alpo wet in their dry but not the serial numbers noted in the recall. Still, I'm going to be feeding cooked hamburger as the wet food for awhile and I also get the healthy request (low salt) campbells old fashioned vegetable soup as a gravy for the dry. It's cheap and one can mixed with water lasts a couple of days for 2 dogs since I don't saturate the food, I just put in enough to make a slight gravy of the dry and they get peas and carrots and some pasta to boot. I know alot of people who prepare all the food from scratch for their dogs. I just don't have the time or energy to add that to my daily routine... but cooking hamburger I can handle.
