I agree.  However, arthritis is obvious in humans that have it in
their hands, etc.

I think there would be some sort of enlargement or swelling.

As well, people talk about a difference in their horses' movement.

I don't know...I'd like to know more about spavin.  I've heard people
talk about their horses having spaving so bad that they considered
putting them down.  I'd like to know more about a disease that causes
an owner to think like that.
