I understand, some of us are taught things about horses, that this 
is the way it is done and that is it, we are just questioning 
the "norm".

Absolutely, horses care about the feeling of a person, compassion, 
they could really care less about what they know. Sometimes I think 
about horses in terms of the "Tao of Pooh". Owl knew everything, but 
he knew so much he was always getting himself confused:) Pooh was 
simple, he did not think *too* much, and somehow things always 
turned out the right way in the end. It's sort of like that with 
horses, just clear your mind, and really *be* with them.
