I believe that the mule is doing a slightly lateral flatwalk, and the palomino horse is foxtrotting. It's hard because each horse is the same color all over, and the images are small, so that it's hard to recognize which legs are which, but try to look at the laterals for the mule, and the diagonals for the palomino.
