They use them, however, there is one Shetland team that belongs to one of the members where blinkers are NOT used. One of the shetlands was abused as a youngster in her previous home and she refused to go in blinkers....she has to keep her eye on you the whole time you are driving. It's a bit unnerving as I could tell she was watching me...with a rather untrusting eye... But yes, for the most part....blinkers are encouraged. There is one Icelandic in the club that did extremely well at a show last weekend. I'm waiting for some pics to post on the website. He won everything... His owners are the ones mentoring Kevin and I in our efforts. Wanda
