Neat story Trish. Octopi are my very favorite underwater critters. I know some people don't believe it, but I do. Octopi are super smart.
I had an octopus friend that lived in a toilet that was dumped in the Puget Sound and when my human friend and I went night diving, we often brought him some crab. As soon as he heard our bubbles he's come boiling out of his hole and climb on us! We taught him to open jars, canisters, all sorts of containers to get his goodies. Cherie
