I should have gotten a picture of this today, but I didn't think of it. I had to bring up 25 horses (well, 24 horses and a mini-mule) for the vet to give rabies and WNV vaccines. When it was Bjola's turn, I opened the gate to get her, and Ima was about to charge through (all the horses wanted a second chance with the vet, so I think that says something about his skills) so I let Bjola walk out into the grassy area behind the barn with no halter. I assumed she'd just stop and graze, but as I fastened the gate, I noticed she walked on into the barn. Then I remembered that Melnir was in a stall, so I assumed she'd go visit with him.
I was wrong. She walked on into the barn, and stopped in the middle of the hallway all the way to the far end, to the spot she normally stands for the vet, waiting for her turn, ignoring Melnir. That's a pretty cool mare - she just walked on in past the grass, and ignored the (ex-) stallion who bred her three months ago. I love that mare.
