That shoulder is LAID back, not straights... I guess I disagree on that term, but we might not have the same definition of the term... straight shoulders are what QH's usually have, and the trot is stiff and short, ICKY in my opinion, I love riding a trot on a horse with a laid back shoulder, hate straight shouldered trots...
