>>> The Western Sensation is the only model out right now that has a longer base length for the horse of about 4".
>From the pictures, I'm not sure I'd consider the Western Sensation to have a "base" of 4" longer than the other Sensation models. The extra length on the western model appears more like a "skirt" on a treed western saddle than what I'd consider a "base" on an English type saddle, which may or may not be relevant to how the saddle fits the horse. A skirt is mostly for looks, and if it's soft, it doesn't really matter too much how long it is. This sounds picky maybe, but I've wondered if a western Sensation might actually work better on Melnir, because it doesn't have the wide "flaps" down the side, even though the base/skirt of the saddle is longer. I just can't be sure what dimension makes the Hybrid walk back a little on him. But... I don't need another saddle - the dressage works fine. :) Karen Thomas, NC No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
