Anna, did you hear what Van said about the comments they are getting (at the beginning of the video) about clicker training? One of the things that is interestingly different about how Van and Kim train (using NH / PNH) is that the horse is trained to hold his gait and speed until asked for something different. The horse is responsible for holding the gait and speed, and is not held up by the rider, which is the opposite of icelandic-style training, in general, and of gait training. I think allowing the horse to be responsible for gait and speed without someone hanging onto the mouth is much better for the horse. Judy http://icehorses.net http://clickryder.com
