Janice... she has a wooly coat it's just hard to see... traditional mane on the mule is shaved down to about 1-2 inches short. I usually will let the bit just near the saddle get longer for saddle mounting but she was already shaved on the mane when I got her so it'll be awhile before it grows out. Yeah, I made that pouch! It's deerskin and rabbit fur with a little bit of wolf tail on the front as a tassel and a horn button closure. I keep a flask, cigarrettes and jerky in it! LOL! Bia
