Hi Wanda, >>What we have here is a good rider, with good hands, who has spent time carefully training a horse that may not have had the best start.
Thanks, from Mandy, for the complement. After initially thinking she wanted nothing to do with the horse business (it is kind of difficult when that is your parents life and it has been such a strong influencer your entire life); going to University; taking her LSAT's and passing; she decided that she didn't want to be a lawyer but would like to try working with horses. The past summers that she has spent working with horses and clients at the Bitterroot Ranch gave her great experience and allowed her to come into her own with horses. I wish I had known what she does when I was her age. She has never been around horses that were really pushed, or harshly punished and really loves to work things out with horses by finding different directions. She has had very good feedback from people attending her clinics and it makes me feel lucky and proud to have such a daughter. She is working towards getting Undri ready to be evaluated but done from developing him with Connected Riding and TTEAM - he may not get the highest scores but maybe it will give an example of a different type of riding and development of the horse. She just wants to continue to increase her knowledge. I have asked her to take some photos of him when she is working with him.
