I just received the nylon caged version and really like them. I got mine from Long Rider- http://www.longridersgear.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=79_32_59 - They had the best combination price on these and a girth I was getting. Cherie recommended the nylon ones because if you should come off they don't bang on the horses side as hard.
