speaking as someone who's been in gudmar's tack room, it's msotly filled with french-link snaffles of one or another sort of alloy, plus the occasional stangir. i don't know if stjarni's head-carriage is beautiful, but he is soft-mouthed, and gudmar was very adamant about keeping him in the copper-alloy french-link (though i did switch from loose-ring to full-cheek, since that was what i could borrow that fit). --vicka
