Laree, You've got Mura's personality down, at first she seems so nonchalant, "Don't pay any attention to me, I'm not worth worrying about" Then when no one's around those little gears a clicking away in her head. She's not generally a bratty smart, using her brains toward evil purposes, like the little Welsh/Arabian I had! Mura gently manipulates things her way, but she's also like a good witch, taking good care of beginners. She does not like living in a large herd and hates to be in the middle of commotion, especially around feeding time, so for awhile, she'd stay way back and let everyone fight it out and then mosey on in and eat, but one day I saw her walk down below the barn, look on the right side, come back to where the other horses were eating on the left, look at me, walk all the way around the barn again, quietly come up to the fence on that side and nicker as quietly as she could and still have me hear her. She wanted me to feed her on that side, but she didn't want the others to know! From that day on, she'd make sure none of the other horses were looking, sneak over and nicker.
