Oh Mic I am so sorry, it is so difficult with that kind of sickness that you are not really sure what is wrong. We had a gelding, years ago, that had had strangles and never totally recovered. We were quite sure he had a kind of bastard strangles and he would go up and down in how he would eat. We tried all kinds of drugs, homeopathy supplements etc and after about a year he finally succumbed. In his case it was his liver that was really affected. Was he gelded?
