from google: Hrói höttur is the Icelandic name for Robin Hood, and this restaurant is the Icelandic version of American fast food chains, circling the country. The location out of the centre, in the west part of town, seems rather strange and at a first glance not so promising, but as Hrói is also a bar the place has become a local for the suburb area of vesturbær/west end. Situated in a large office and supermarket building close by the sea, Hrói höttur caters for busy lunches and hurried dinners alike, and has managed to become quite popular amongst all kinds of crowds, though somehow they tend to be mainly of the male kind.
average cost: ISK 1500-2000 delivery available. wonder why fast food is more popular with males in iceland?? I like the name robin hood for an icelandic... a name that means a person who takes from the rich and gives to the poor is a good name for an icelandic horse I think!! Thats awesome Karen!! Janice -- even good horses have bad days sometimes.
