>>Break strength & snaps<<< Yes, I thought they would break too, but that has not been my experience. Used Dana's snaps on the ends of my sidepull reins & Lalli stepped on one rein. Neither the snap nor the synthetic rein broke..big chiropractic bill..sore horse. This is when I switched to all leather with "fuses".
