Yes, I am beginning to see why the saddle chariot hasn't taken off, despite
it seeming to be a great idea / product. : ) While I find Mr.
Mulholland very entertaining in his writing style and outlook on life, I get
the impression he needs a "keeper" or manager when it comes to things of a
business nature.

> Wasn't he supposed to swing by your place too?<

Well, yes and no. He was in contact with the gal I bought my Rocky
from (who is also very interested in the Saddle Chariots) north of me (6
hours) and she was trying to get him to come to Michigan -- maybe even host
him for a demo day or something, but the lack of communication "thing" got
her too. Simon seems to have a bad habit or pattern of not following up
with anyone. I don't even know if he even made it to the States this
summer -- I doubt it.

Too bad because I think he's sitting on a gold mine and it won't be too
long before someone else comes along, copies the basic principles of his
design, markets it under their OWN brand name and makes the $$ Simon could
have (and rightfully should have). But, you gotta get your act together to
promote and market what you have or something else is going to beat you to
it.

My husband is very handy -- he can make just about anything and problem
shoot any design flaw he finds with something. (Tool and die, pattern
maker for 25 years). I know if I show him pictures and videos of the Saddle
Chariot, he could make me some semblence of one that would likely be very
adequate for my own use. Of course, I'm not sure that would happen in
this lifetime. . . Already too many projects around here that take
precedence over a Saddle Chariot! But I think that is the only way I'll
ever get one of these things at this point given Mr. Mulholland's
indifferent attitude and the cost. . .

Yup. Can you imagine trying to work out a customer concern or problem or
trying to keep your inventory up with him at the other end???? Yikes.

Such a shame. A lot of people could be enjoying what he has invented I
think.
