Alex and I have been riding around the pasture together this week, me on Gat and Alex on Orri.
Orri has been great at the walk, going both ways, stop, back up, and is good if Gat is in front, or back, or even on the opposite side of pasture. But when Alex tries to trot he leaves the 'wall' and goes towards the middle, and often he's pushing out and following his left shoulder. I remember when I rode him in lessons he always seemed to push out and follow his left shoulder. What does this mean, if anything? V
