Hello,

I’ve a Centos 6 box with icinga 1.11 up and running for quite some time (been upgrading since 1.8)

I ccurrently face a question:

Host A has Host B as parent.

Hosts B and A go down. Host B is faster to bootup and therefore reachable pretty quick. But Host A still takes a while. The problem I’m facing is that I get an error saying its down and soon after one saying its up..

I wanted to raise the time between the available check on the Parent and the checks on the hosts that depends on it.

Lowering the retry_interval doesn't help here?
