Hi All, We want to setup Icinga2 for the below scenario
* We want to have Master/Master or Master/Slave to have High Availability Setup. So if 1 server goes down the 2nd Server can take care of all the things. * We have 4 locations and each device in that particular location will talk to the local server(satellite server) and this satellite server will send the latest updates to the master server or the master server can pull the latest information about checks, alerts etc.. from the Satellite Server. To avoid complete breakdown b/w master & the satellite server due to network issues, it is possible to allow another Satellite server to take over(from the other location) to talk to devices of the other location. The Local Satellite Servers will have their Web Interfaces For ex Location A has the master server and this master server checks all the local devices. Location B Satellite Server will connect to devices in its location and Location C Satellite Server will connect to devices in its location. Now in-case the connection b/w Master Server(in Location A) and Location B Satellite Server goes down to Network failure(VPN going down) but the Location C is able to talk Location B, it is possible for Location B Satellite server to update the master server about the Location B devices via Location C server. In-case Location B Satellite Server goes down it is possible for Location C Server to talk to Location B devices & update the master server in Location A about the Location B Devices status.
