i am setting up a icinga2 cluster to be distributed across two datacenters dc1 and dc2 and each has 2 endpoints.

i'd like to be able to see both datacenters in one place. so is there a 'prefered recommendation' to set up a new zone (ie, 'master') with two endpoints and have it be the parent zone to both zones dc1 and dc2.. or is it common to use say zone dc1 as the parent zone to dc2? just wanted to start off on the right foot and use the preferred way.

im sure i'll have more questions as i work thru this, so thanks in advance. i am reading thru and using this as a reference http://docs.icinga.org/icinga2/latest/doc/module/icinga2/chapter/distributed-monitoring-high-availability

thank you
