I looked at LConf but the LDAP requirement (correct me if I'm wrong) adds
more requirement to the deployment. I tend to stick with the kiss model :-)

Agreed. However, after further reading, I believe this is mentioned in there
somewhere. It just takes a little bit of time to discover it.
