Yeah, sorry... you mentioned your manual SQL query in your first post (so
that truly was "a stupid question," my apologies).

I might try snooping on port 3306 (MySQL) to see what happens when you
perform a query from the web interface. At least that way you might see if
it's getting lost in the interface or if the query is malformed, etc.

Of course, tail ./var/icinga.log to see if you can spot anything helpful
there, too.

Unfortunately, I still tend to be of the "classic UI camp" so far ... so I
don't do a whole lot with the icinga-web interface, yet, other than "basic
tests" (ie. enough to make sure it works and I can move on). So I'm largely
speaking to problems I've hit in the past (I'll have to go dig on my current
interface, now, to see if I can jog any memories of similar problems for
you).
