active configuration params.
is there anything else you will need to know about the system? so,

i don't like guessing how the configs and the systems are built. so in
order to get an idea about your local environment, you should provide

may be you should consider to split the checks in to 2 different
machines, or use some distribuited check.
I had the same problem in my company, after 300 host on a single
icinga server the delay was getting significant.
