Hi all,

I'd like to ask for advice on a configuration that I'm planning.

Scenario: we've installed a local nagios instance server that
collects info from several remote nagios servers (this is done
in a tricky way that I don't have to worry about, external package
provided by some people).

At this point I have a local nagios instace which collects remote
results. Now I need to send SMS if some of those alerts are critical,
so, and as we have one icinga that is already sending sms, I'd like to
gather check results from new local nagios into icinga.

Which could be the best way for doing so?
I've been looking at livestatus. My idea is: cretae some script that
collects info from remote nagios using livestatus, and then create a new
service in icinga so I can add SMS notificaction.

But, before starting this configuration, I'm wondering if someone,
which more experience than me, could recommend some other solution
(maybe simplest) or give me some advice on my planned conf.

Many tahnks in advance,
Arnau
