Actually we managed later on to track down some of the perf issues into a
NATing configuration...
But yes, Oracle DB is kind of an overkill in my humble opinion :-)

Yeah, the OSMC program looks really good this year, but I won't be able to
attend :-( I'll have a look at the slides once they are published.
