Hi, I have a fairly fresh install of icinga-web (Version icinga-web/v1.9.0 Tuesday, May 7, 2013)
Taking a look at syslog, I'm seeing errors like these fairly regularly: <14>1 2013-08-05T14:17:28.319736+02:00 radar icinga - - Error: Unable to open file '/tmp/checkXjIGYI' for reading: No such file or directory <14>1 2013-08-05T14:17:28.319795+02:00 radar icinga - - Error: Unable to rename file '/tmp/checkXjIGYI' to '/var/lib/icinga/spool/checkresults/cjwFZT5': No such file or directory <14>1 2013-08-05T14:17:28.319890+02:00 radar icinga - - Warning: Unable to move file '/tmp/checkXjIGYI' to check results queue. The last two messages are obvious consequences of the said file not being there, the question is why icinga fails to create the file and/or expects the file to be there? The /tmp/ directory has full permissions as it ought to, and I do see several check* files in there owned by the nagios user with permission of 600. nagios is the correct user as specified in icinga.cfg Is this serious, and how to resolve it? -- Daniel Petersen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get your SQL database under version control now!
